The Sarraounia Public Health Trust conducts quantitative and qualitative research, mixed method studies and case study research. We provide support with both short and long-term research projects. We facilitate teams to respond to requests for rapid appraisals, situation analyses, a mid-term reviews and evaluation studies. The Trust conducts both formative and summative research.
We use a number of innovative qualitative methodologies and tailor them to the particular design of the research project. These include case studies, Most Significant Change, and community dialogues. We guide our clients in selecting the most appropriate methodology in the design of research projects, and bring together quantitative and qualitative methodologies where necessary.
Our approach is always appreciative and the design is always sensitive to the systems in which the research is embedded. We are sensitive to the the needs of organisations, government, communities and donors, and are able to work with multistakeholder platforms.
The Trust facilitates ethics approval and provides linkages with research and academic institutions and with other researchers as necessary.
